My name is Ingrid Wijnbeek-Sabajo, owner and dance teacher of Al Hayat Dance Studio. Since 1989 I have been working as a dance teacher and choreographer in the Netherlands and abroad. I was trained as a jazz dance teacher, but in the past 32 years I have developed myself into an all-round dance teacher with a specialization; non western dance styles.

In the Netherlands I mainly gave street dance lessons, Salsa lessons in southern Spain and from 2008 to 2013 I gave belly dance lessons in the United Arab Emirates. In the U.A.E. my passion for belly dancing started and I expanded my knowledge and experience with my own dance studio "La Vita". I gave private belly dance lessons to local women (emirations) and, in addition to my own dance studio, taught at Fitness First, Dubai Ladies Club and hotel Kempinski.

I have been back in the Netherlands since June 2013 and founded Al Hayat Dance after a period of 2 years. First started teaching and then started organizing events at Holland Casino Enschede, including the Oriental Ladies Night and Ladies Business Event. In 2019 I opened my own dance studio at De Klomp 122 and we now have a location in Almelo and a new main location at De Reulver 112B in Enschede south. We have grown into a meeting place for women of all ages and nationalities where we gather for dance classes, workshops and events.
